The Kumarapuram village massacre in the district of Trincomalee took place on the 11th of february 1996 at around 4p.m Soldiers of The Sri Lankan Army entered the village with their rifles firing. killing 26 Tamil Civilians in Cold Blood, thirteen of them were children. Although Soon After The Gruesome Incident, Witnesses To the Tragedy, identified eight soldiers as the alleged perpetrators, the case dragged on for twenty Long years, And finally on 2016.07.27, the anuradhapura Court Acquitted them from all Charges And Released Them All.
